Why we don't use redirect ads

Links that expire

How expiring links work

Malicious link checks

Every URL is checked against threat databases before it is shortened, and anyone can report abuse.

What people use Lyzo for

Social media bios and posts

Fit long links into bios, captions and comments, then see which platform sends the most clicks.

Marketing campaigns

Give every channel its own short link — shortening the same URL twice creates separate links with separate stats.

Limited-time promotions

Set a link to expire when a sale or registration closes, so nobody lands on an outdated offer.

Chats, emails and print

Short, clean links are easier to type, read aloud and fit into messages, newsletters, flyers and slides.

Questions people ask before shortening

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it is completely free and you never need to sign up. The service is funded by ads on our website — short links send visitors straight to the destination without an ad page.

How do I see click statistics?

After you shorten a link you get a management link that shows total clicks, clicks per day, referrers, countries and devices for the last 30 days. It is shown only once, so save it — it cannot be recovered.

How long do short links last?

You choose: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year, or never. After a link expires, visitors see a page explaining that the link has expired.
